Hello. I'm back from OBS.. The camp was really enriching and fun although it was a really hard 5 days. I gotta admit I felt like giving up at certain points of time but I managed to get my ass through the whole thing. Here I am, back in one piece but with mosquito and sand fly bites all over me(ouch). Met some new friends there and they're really nice people. Although I have not really known them for a long time but after everything we went through together @ OBS, its like we've known one another for years. You guys rock.
Went to Esplanade to session on Saturday. It's been quite awhile since I have been there. Saw how much everybody has improved... There would be some really strong competition this year at Floorskillz 3. Today is February 28th and I have like about 12 days till FS3 to practice. I really gotta give it my all in the next 12 days and get myself to my peak. There are gonna be quite a number of foreign crews joining this year.. both fortunately and unfortunately. If there's stronger competition, there would be hotter battles and SG's bboy scene would improve alot more. Whereas if the competition is too strong we may lose out and the crown of FS3 would be fought among the foreign crews. But anyway, I feel that the bboys of SG would be really dope when SG's bboy scene reaches its peak.
Went to town yesterday after tuition with Dome, Nic, Siak, Dehui, Jordan and Jess. There was supposedly some bboy competition being held @ Cineleisure but it turned out to be pretty screwed up. Met a Goth yesterday too and he's really dope.
Been kinda obessed with the punk and goth subcultures recently. Find them really interesting.
The angst, anger, anti-racism and anarchism - the punk culture.I'll blog another time.
See ya asstards around. Bye

Hello. Been awhile since I updated... But here I am. Yesterday was just a typical Saturday which was really hot. Went to meet Elite Team to session @ SengKang. Yesterday's session was pretty fun. Everybody was training pretty hard. Floorskillz is like 3 weeks away.. Really looking forward to it. Recently I've been reading about different subcultures such as the Emo, punk and goth culture. Read that Goths evolved out of the Punk culture and goths used to be known as "Positive punks". That's pretty interesting. Found out that Punks believe firmly in anti-racism and anarchism.
“Punk has its earliest roots in the United States, in New York city. It was there in the very late 1960s and early 1970s that bands such as the Ramones, Television, Patti Smith, and Blondie emerged on the New York punk scene. It is important to keep in mind that it was a scene and not the movement that occurred in Great Britain in the latter parts of the 1970s” (Cahill 1998: 1).The scene in the US remained small until the punk movement in Britain was given considerable media attention. Because punk is a counter culture it cannot be pinpointed exactly when the movement began."However, most would agree that it was sometime in 1975. Britain was suffering from a recession at the time, and in times of extreme hardship, people look for an outlet for their anger"(Cahill 1998: 1). This is exactly what happened in Great Britain. Adolescents became angry and showed their frustration and dissatisfaction of situations or conditions. In 1975, the poor working class youths of Britain began to use the style of the New York punk scene. Adolescents were angry because they seemed domed to living out an existence on the dole. This, coupled with normal adolescent feelings of isolation and estrangement gave rise to the punk movement. Punk music became a strong way in which pinks could give vent to their feelings and identify themselves as a counter culture. Their dress also became a means of identification. “Punk as a subculture was beginning to take shape, conformity was what punk stood against."(Cahill 1998: 1).Interesting, ain't it?
OBS begins for me tomorrow. Kinda excited about it. Haven't really finished packing my stuff.. In fact I haven't really began. Imma go pack muh stuff after I finish blogging. I'm very sure I would be dying to get a cup of ice cold Coke while I'm there cos that's how I felt when I was at the Sec 3 adventure camp last year. And oh yea... I would confirm freak out while doing the high elements. I'm a chicken when it comes to stuff like this. Lol. Went to buy sun block and zip-lock bags just now.. The fucking sun block costs 22bucks. That really burnt a whole in my wallet. I think Imma bring more than enough shirts and undies to last me thru the 5 days. I don't wanna end up re-wearing any of my shirts or undies. Haha.
I'm listening to Eminem's Mocking Bird now. Its a really nice song... One of the very few hiphop songs which I actually like. All the hiphop music that is being produced nowadays just totally sucks balls... Punk rock is still muh favourite :)
I can see you're sad even when U smile, even when you laugh. I can see it in your eyes, deep inside U wanna cryBefore I end this entry, I wanna wish all my school mates the very best for the common tests that begins for them tomorrow. Do study hard yea? I'll see ya guys when I return from OBS...
Love y'all. Muacks!
HAHAHAs =x

On this very special day, I would like to wish everybody(especially all couples) a very Happy Valentine's Day. May your love lives be filled with happiness and surprises! =D
Common tests begin next week but fortunately and unfortunately, I won't need to take it as I'll be at OBS. While my classmates are muggin' really hard, I'll be getting my fat ass ready to take on the challenges of OBS. While they're scribbling the answers on the exam scripts in the comfort of the classroom, I'll be at Pulua Ubin getting sun burns and mosquito bites but enjoying the activities(hopefully). Till now I still have not gotten a bag that is big enough to pack all the stuff I need to bring for OBS. I have 1 bag that is pretty big but the zip is spoilt so it cannot be used but I'm intending to bring it to some tailor and get it fixed.
Already spent near to a hundred bucks of my ang bao money. Gonna start cutting down on my spending and save some munay. I've been wanting to buy this really dope Nautica watch that costs $209. If I buy it I won't have any money left so I'm having second, third and fourth thoughts. Ah well.
Floorskillz is next month... 12th March 2005. I'm really looking forward to it. If my team could just get pass the 1st round, I'll be damn contented. Gotta train extra hard and get to my peak by Floorskillz. Inertia and Elite Team.. Lets practice hard together! :D
Imma go pack muh bag and get some shut-eye.
Cya peeps. ciao.

Today is Inertia's 1 Year anniversary! Woo. I enjoyed this day although nothing much happened. We went to Junction 8 and spent the entire day there just walking around and breaking. Could feel a strong sense of unity among the remaining members of Inertia. Everybody came in the crew shirt... Representing hard. Even Chiro wore the crew shirt to work :D We bought a cake from BreadTalk. Its mocha flavoured and tastes pretty good although there's too much cream. Costs us 30 bucks. Hahas.
Fellow Inertians - Lets work hard and make our way to the top of the ladder. Thanks for everything. Love y'all! =)
